A student successfully appealed a £60 parking penalty using ChatGPT.

Image
A student was able to revoke a parking citation by using the artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT. Millie Houlton, 22, of York, used the site to send an email to the council, which resulted in the revocation of the £60 fine for parking over a yellow line. Millie, a business management student, used the AI chatbot to create a professionally worded email to appeal the charge, believing she wouldn't be able to do so herself. After asking ChatGPT to assist her in writing a letter to the council after they issued her a parking citation and explaining the situation, the AI responded with a polite response for Millie to send. Millie used her £60 and went on a student night out to celebrate after being successful in having the fine revoked.  'I think I wouldn't have been able to word it the way ChatGPT did, and I probably wouldn't have had it taken back if it hadn't been for it,' she explained. 'I was relieved because, as a student, I don't want to spend £6...

But here's the thing: it's not impossible. Real-life instances are sometimes the most inspiring. Consider the case of Casey King. He weighted 845 pounds at his heaviest. He did, however, manage to lose two-thirds of his body weight through sheer determination and hard effort. Casey King first came to national attention on TLC's reality show Family by the Ton. According to King, he was always a "big kid," and by the time he graduated from high school, he weighed in at 300 pounds. Rather than changing his eating habits, he continued to work in restaurants and consume unhealthy fast food.  Because of his significant weight gain, King had difficulty performing routine tasks such as bathing. His physical size prohibited him from fitting into a normal shower or bathtub, forcing him to clean...

Bruni said on Wednesday that the infection would "require a few days of appropriate hospital medical therapy," but he was "touched by the many messages received and expresses his gratitude for the closeness and prayer." Despite Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu deciding to halt the legislative process the day before, around 3,000 protesters marched in Tel Aviv on Tuesday against the government's judicial overhaul plan. The protest, which was significantly smaller than those seen in the city in the previous 12 weeks, was held due to demonstrators' fears that Netanyahu's suspension of the legislative process was a ruse designed to stifle protests before resuming the legislative blitz in a few weeks, according to protest organizers.  They also claimed that the demonstration was in response to Netanyahu's agreement with National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir to move forward with plans for the creation of a "national guard" force under the authority of the far-right minister.  The march began at 4 p.m. from the Kirya mili...

Humza Yousaf has been named the new leader of the Scottish National Party, succeeding Nicola Sturgeon.

Image
Following a vote in Holyrood on Tuesday, Humza Yousaf won the SNP leadership election and will most likely succeed Nicola Sturgeon as First Minister of Scotland.
