Kim Kardashian Talks About Her 2-Hour Weight Training Workout While Listening to Taylor Swift: 'You Gotta Push Through'
Disclosing secrets! Kim Kardashian revealed her morning training routine, which involves two hours of weight lifting and a terrific gym playlist. "I'm gonna show you guys a little bit of my workout today," the 42-year-old Kardashians star tweeted on Sunday, March 26, through her Instagram Story, with a video of herself holding a huge dumbbell at the base of her neck. "I've been working out with @senada.greca for three months now. We lift weights for two hours every day, five or six days a week." Her main goal, she explained, was "to gain muscle and be strong," and she's seeing results. "I can already tell a difference," she wrote. "I'm proud of our shared dedication. It is usually best to begin with small goals."
Kardashian wore a black sports bra and matching leggings as she showed fans how she spends her time at the gym. She began with a "split stance," then demonstrated lateral squats with a band around her thighs. The reality star was holding a 40-pound weight and stated that she does four sets of squats on each side. As her workout progressed, the author of Selfish demonstrated a kneeling squat with the same 40-pound weight. She then acknowledged that she doesn't always enjoy certain of the exercises. She captioned a video of herself performing the motion, "Heels elevated banded goblet squats to seat with a 20 lb weight." "This is one of my least favorite exercises, but you have to push through even when you don't want to, and I'm afraid of @senada.greca." Kardashian emphasized her triceps and deltoids in her final Instagram Story from her workout. While Taylor Swift's "You Need to Calm Down" played in the background, her trainer made encouraging corrections from behind the camera. Over the years, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians veteran has been open about her training routine and bodily change. She went to the gym with buddy Kelly Rowland earlier this month. "There's nothing like working out [with] friends to keep you motivated," she posted a selfie on her Instagram Story at the time. The beauty mogul previously attracted controversy with her drastic weight loss in preparation for the 2022 Met Gala, which she wore Marylin Monroe's legendary Bob Mackie gown from 1962. Her weight-loss struggle was shown in season 2 of The Kardashians. "I fit into the dress, but I'm not stopping working out."
