Three youngsters under the age of nine were among the six people killed in a Christian school shooting in Nashville.
Metro Nashville Police confirmed that the shooter died after being "engaged by" officers. The gunwoman was reported to be a former student at the school and died after being shot by police following the mayhem. In the aftermath of the Nashville shooting, President Joe Biden urged Congress to adopt his assault weapons ban once more. "It's heartbreaking," he added, "a family's worst nightmare."
Jill Biden, the first lady, stated, "I am truly at a loss for words, and our children deserve better." We stand, all of us, in prayer with Nashville." According to its website, the school, which was created in 2001 as a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church, has approximately 200 pupils and 33 professors. At 10:13 a.m. local time (15:13 GMT), police got reports of an active shooter and engaged the shooter in a "lobby-like area" on the school's second level. They also stated that the shooter was dead by 10:27 a.m. local time. (15:27 GMT).
