After video of the Dalai Lama inviting a boy to'suck my tongue' surfaced online, the Dalai Lama expressed sorrow.

The Dalai Lama has apologized over "inappropriate" footage of him asking a kid if he wanted to suck the spiritual leader's tongue. 
About 100 young pupils attended the encounter, which took place in late February at the Dalai Lama's temple in Dharamshala. 
The video clip, which has caused significant condemnation, shows the 87-year-old spiritual leader kissing the child on the lips first. 
He then told the child to "suck my tongue," extending out his tongue and meeting the student's forehead to forehead. 
The Dalai Lama then spoke to the kid, telling him to follow those who bring "peace and happiness" rather than "human beings who always kill other people," before hugging him goodbye. 
In reaction to the backlash, the Dalai Lama's administration stated that the Dalai Lama wished to apologize to the kid and his family "for any hurt his words may have caused." 
"In public and in front of cameras, His Holiness frequently teases people he meets in an innocent and playful manner." "He deeply regrets the incident," his office stated. 
Since fleeing Tibet in 1959, following an uprising against Chinese control, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism has been living in exile in India. 
It's not the first time his office has had to apologize on his behalf. 
The Dalai Lama's office apologized in 2019 after he stated in a BBC interview that any future female Dalai Lama must be "attractive."

A tornado kills 23 people in Mississippi, wreaking pandemonium in the southern US state.

  Tornadoes swept over Mississippi, killing at least 23 people and left a devastation in their wake. The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency stated on Twitter that search and rescue teams from local and state agencies had been mobilized to assist tornado victims. Early Saturday, the agency revealed that 23 people had perished, four were missing, and dozens had been injured. "Unfortunately, these numbers are expected to change," the agency tweeted a few minutes later. A tornado inflicted damage around 60 miles north-east of Jackson, Mississippi, according to the National Weather Service. The remote settlements of Silver City and Rolling Fork were destroyed as the tornado moved northeast at 70 mph, racing into Alabama through towns like Winona and Amory into the night. Humza Yousaf has been named the new leader of the Scottish National Party, succeeding Nicola Sturgeon.
